Bronze Age Aegean and Mediterranean Archaeology, with special attention to the following topics:
Final Neolithic period in Crete (Phaistos and Nerokourou).
Cypriot Figurines of the Chalcolithic period
Postpalatial period in Crete.
Long distance interconnections and trade in the Bronze Age Mediterranean with special reference to the Mycenaean and Cypriot evidence in the Central Mediterranean.

Main Excavations:
Iasos (Turkey); Phaistos (Crete); Nerokourou (Crete); Achladia (Crete) Kritsa (Crete).

Publications: Author, co-author and editor of  more than 15 volumes and more than 150 articles and papers

Teaching: University of Perugia; University of Florence.
Lectures and Seminars in various European and American Institutions.
