D. E. and N. Tsakalakis Property

The property is situated on the north slope of the Kephala hill, at an altitude of 54-60 m., and has a perfect view of the whole of the Siteia Bay area. Excavations were conducted in 2004-2006 and 2009- 2011. The excavation of the Pre- and Protopalatial cemetery of Petras ia a systematic research project of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture since 2012.
